Frankfurt, Germany (formnext 2017 – Hall 3.1 at booth E20) – November 16, 2017 – XJet Ltd., the additive manufacturing company today announces that it has met its business targets for formnext 2017, within the first two days of the show.
Representing significant interest in the company’s unique Nano Jetting technology, companies from a wide range of markets, industries and geographies lined-up to not only witness the first commercial showing of the XJet Carmel AM product line, but to also benefit from its unique capabilities.
“We came to the show having just announced one of the World’s leading AM service provider, Oerlikon AM, as our first customer,” said Hanan Gothait, CEO and Founder of XJet.
“On the first day of the show, we then announced our first customer in North America – demonstrating that our business has moved out of R&D into full commercialization.”
“This has clearly resonated with the market, enabling us to meet our show target very early on within the show. We are delighted.”
XJet celebrated a successful first day alongside a birthday for its newly appointed VP Manufacturing and Defense,
Haim Levi. At an on-stand party, industry veterans and visionaries including Terry Wohlers, Michael Eichman, Sascha Wenzler, Nigel Bunt and others joined XJet to raise a glass to Haim, whose achievement throughout his 32 years within the industry is legendary. They also congratulated Avi Cohen for his recent appointment as VP Healthcare & Education, as well as the wider XJet team for its achievement to date.
“Our show could not have started better. Our vision to transform the metal and ceramic AM market has taken a giant leap forward. We are also extremely grateful to the formnext team for the honor they did us in participating in Haim’s Birthday celebrations,” concluded Dror Danai, Chief Business Officer, XJet.
Editors Notes:
The first Carmel AM system has been installed at Oerlikon citim in Germany and is already running. During December, a second system will ship to Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) in the USA for installation in January 2018. Both sites will perform field tests on the XJet systems with a focus on using ceramic materials to produce parts for a variety of industries.
