Technical Ceramics gets Injection of Creative Freedom as XJet AM Solution Debuts at Ceramitec
Rehovot, Israel– February 8, 2018 – XJet Ltd., the additive manufacturing company, will reveal its vision of a transformed technical ceramics industry at ceramitec 2018 on stand 337/440, Hall B6. XJet’s new Additive Manufacturing technology, which uses NanoParticle Jetting™, gives ceramics manufacturers the freedom to create short-run parts with the most complex geometries, superfine detail and high density without using moulds.
Additive Manufacturing has made revolutionary changes in numerous industries since its inception in the 1980s, delivering advantages not afforded by traditional manufacturing processes. Benefits cited include slashed product development timescales and costs, as well as more accessible innovation – complex parts are as easy to produce as simple ones, and a multitude of design iterations are possible through the elimination of tooling and short production times. XJet’s flagship product, the Carmel 1400 AM System, will run live on the stand throughout the show. Printing ultrafine layers of NanoParticle ‘inks’ (dispersion), manufacturers are able to produce ceramic parts with the ease and versatility of inkjet printing. The Carmel AM system simultaneously prints build and support materials, achieving freedom of design for the most complex shapes. Ceramic parts produced on XJet systems enjoy superfine details, smooth surfaces and high accuracy due to the unique printing process. The ground-breaking technology also ensures the whole process offers operational advantages as it is productive, efficient, safe and simple to use.
